Wagga Pilgrim Mission

Our Vision is Building our community of care. We value all generations, all cultures, justice, integrity, authenticity and creativity. We really are a pilgrim people – on the way, questioning, changing, moving, trying to keep pace with one another, looking to God for how we build the “one day” of no more sorrow or tears in the world of today.  We do hope you’ll walk with us!

Mission directions:

Provide a safe and welcoming place for all people

Grow all generations in the Christian Faith together

Share God’s love with the wider community

Support newcomers to our community

Support those on the margins of our society

Together, we seek to create and maintain a Culture of Safety across our Church where we aim to offer ministry and mission amongst people and places where everyone is safe. All of our leaders have certified NSW Working with Children Checks and have completed Culture of Safety (Safe Church) workshops run by the Church. Our Pilgrim Safe Church Policy is available on the Support page.

Wagga Pilgrim Uniting Church is in Wiradjuri Country, near the life sustaining Murrumbidgee River. We acknowledge the Wiradjuri people, who were entrusted by the Creator to care for the land and the rivers through countless generations.

We recognise that the sovereignty of these lands has never been ceded. We pay our respect to Wiradjuri Elders past and present.

We acknowledge the actions of colonisation committed in these lands and their ongoing impact. We dedicate ourselves to seeing, listening and learning, as we work towards justice and reconciliation together.
