Need Support?

We seek to be a safe place for all people. We want to make sure that anyone who comes to services or activities run by Wagga Pilgrim knows that they will be comfortable and nurtured. And we’re sincerely sorry for all the times that the Church (that’s us!) have gotten it wrong and caused those who come seeking sanctuary to feel unwelcome, excluded, and unloved. However, humans being humans, that’s not always the case in any church or school or community setting. We want to know when we’re not getting it right.

The Pilgrim Safe Church Policy lays out the process if you wish to notify a concern.

Wagga Pilgrim Uniting Church is in Wiradjuri Country, near the life sustaining Murrumbidgee River. We acknowledge the Wiradjuri people, who were entrusted by the Creator to care for the land and the rivers through countless generations.

We recognise that the sovereignty of these lands has never been ceded. We pay our respect to Wiradjuri Elders past and present.

We acknowledge the actions of colonisation committed in these lands and their ongoing impact. We dedicate ourselves to seeing, listening and learning, as we work towards justice and reconciliation together.
